One of my favourite areas of countryside is called The xx located in Southwestern China.

It’s famous for itsnatural beauty, and its most special featuresare its special lakes. Because of the unique Karst Landform（喀斯特地貌）, the water in the lake is blue-green-ish （偏蓝绿色的）, looking very colorful and shimmering under the beautiful sunshine!

The rolling hills around the lakes are also incredibly beautiful, especially the way they catch the light as it is breaks through the clouds.

The main pastimes in that lake area are outdoor pursuits such as walking,cycling and so on. In fine weather, you really can’t beat a long hike in that amazing countryside as far as I’m concerned. There are plenty of maps showing good routes.

Those who prefer a more relaxing holiday can spend their time just sitting and admiring the stunning scenery. I got to mention, the weather there is mostly warm and humid, very pleasant indeed.
